Jay Cutler was always a gunslinger at heart. It’s been that way since he became a quarterback in high school and stayed that way until he retired from the NFL. It was part of his charm and also a reason he got himself into trouble at times. The thing to remember is such a mentality isn’t exclusive to football with such players. They are often the same exact way in their personal lives.
Risk-taking is part of Cutler’s DNA, and it sounds like it got him in trouble again. It has been some time since his divorce from his ex-wife Kristin Cavallari. Nobody would criticize the former quarterback for enjoying the bachelor lifestyle. However, there are certain boundaries that should never be crossed, and it appears the 39-year-old ignored that rule when he allegedly decided to start an affair with his friend and neighbor’s wife according to In Touch.
A messy situation. Jay Cutler was caught “hooking up” with his good friend’s wife while they were on a family vacation, and her husband is aware of their affair, multiple sources exclusively tell In Touch.
According to one insider, the former Chicago Bears quarterback’s pal “knows” about the affair and “is pissed off.”
“Jay went on vacation with his kids and his friend and his wife and their kids,” a second source adds. “The husband and Jay are good friends and also neighbors. Their kids are all friends. While they were on the trip, Jay was hooking up with his wife.”
While they were all enjoying their vacation, the husband “confronted” them about their affair, the insider reveals, adding that he learned the two had been “hooking up for a long time.”
Jay Cutler truly is the epitome of Don’t Give A F**k.
Think about that story. The cheating in itself is one thing. Yet to actively hook up with the guy’s wife while they’re on vacation in such close proximity to each other? That takes a special kind of guts. It’s almost like the man was practically begging to get caught. If the details are accurate, one can imagine that marriage is over, and whatever relationship Cutler had with the neighbor ended faster than one of his interceptions on Sundays.
Jokes aside here is hoping the story isn’t true. Jay Cutler hasn’t always made it easy to like him, but he’s never come across as a bad guy. Hearing that he might be a homewrecker isn’t going to do much for his legacy in Chicago or anywhere else. Then again, maybe some people will get a kick out of his nutty escapades. Either way, one thing remains clear. The man is never, ever boring.
