Why Mitch Trubisky Goes Over His Passing Yard Prop Against Vikings

-

It’s gameday for the Chicago Bears and it’s a chance to keep their playoff hopes alive. What makes this game a must-watch is that the Bears have shown to be a completely different offense over the past three weeks, and the Vikings have won five of their last seven games.

With both teams making a push towards January football, PointsBet is offering all users a chance to capitalize on some obvious player props.

Three Best Player Props: Bears vs. Vikings

Mitch Trubisky Over/Under Passing Yards (245.5)

Normally, betting on Trubisky is a gamble. But against a Vikings defense that is getting torched this season, it’s worth looking into why he will most likely go over this prop.

For a team that loves drafting cornerbacks, the Vikings are one of the worst pass defenses in all of football. Another thing to note is that linebacker Eric Kendricks will sit out. He’s arguably the best pass covering linebacker in the league, and that means Trubisky will have the middle of the field to find David Montgomery on check-downs or Cole Kmet. Those two have been feasting since Trubisky was named the starter over Nick Foles.

David Montgomery Over/Under Rushing Yards (62.5)

Let’s just call it like it is: David Montgomery has had his best two games in a Bears uniform over the last two weeks. He has torched two bad defenses, including an 80-yard, opening play touchdown vs. the Texans.

Once Bill Lazor started calling plays, Montgomery’s role has risen to a respectable level. Although he needs to touch the ball more than 11 times, there is no reason he won’t go over this rushing prop against a horrible run defense. I’m taking the over here too.

Justin Jefferson Over/Under Receiving Yards (71.5)

Here’s the name I’m afraid Bears fans are going to hear a lot of Sunday afternoon. Justin Jefferson is a full-blown stud who has been torching every team this season. As a rookie, he’s over 1,000 yards with three games to play and has made the Vikings WR combo arguably the best in the NFL.

On the Bears side of the ball, they will be without corners Jaylon Johnson, Buster Skrine, and safety Deon Bush. Of those three, Johnson is the only major concern because he’s been as good as any defensive rookie this year. Without him lining up against Jefferson, Jefferson is likely the go-to target today for Kirk Cousins. He should go close to 100 yards today, based on the season he’s had.

PointsBet Offering $1500 In Risk-Free Bets

If you’re a new user and you’re bored because the pandemic has everything shut down, it’s time to add some extra intensity to your betting experience. All new PoinstBet users qualify for $1500 in risk-free bets, right off the bat.

All you have to do is enter our promo code MOCKERY and you’ll immediately get your two bets to get you started. The first bet is a fixed-odds bet that you can use on any of the player props I mentioned above.

For example, you can bet $500 risk-free on David Montgomery going over 62.5 yards today and win big, or lose nothing at all. That’s the safest bet on the board, in my opinion.

The other risk-free bet is a points betting wager. Points betting is what makes this medium unique because it gives all bettors the option to win more money on their props. What I mean by this is if Trubisky goes over 245.5 and actually throw for 325 total yards, you are compensated for each additional yard.
