Pete Crow-Armstrong’s Embarrassing Week Cannot End Fast Enough

-

I mean, this is flat-out embarrassing, and even as a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan and a Pete Crow-Armstrong fan, he deserves all the shit that he’s currently getting and will continue to get. He made two errors all of last year, and he’s made two errors in three games against the Milwaukee Brewers this week. The one in Wednesday’s series finale will bring on an avalanche of trash talking and well, there’s no defending this.

With runners at first and second with one out in the second inning, the Brewers hit a single to center field where Crow-Armstrong let the ball go under his glove and roll all the way to the wall. Both runners scored easily, and David Hamilton raced around the bases for a little league home run, giving the Brewers a 3-0 lead on the miserable mistake by Crow-Armstrong.

Embarrassing shit. No excuses, just bad baseball.
