Carson Wentz was once thought of as one of the best young QB’s in the league, almost winning MVP in his second season in 2017 if not for an injury. Now, he is slowly regressing and has become somewhat of a turnover machine on his way to leading the Eagles to a 3-6-1 record. Monday Night Bets I Like

Spread: SEA (-6.5) at PHI (+6.5)

When dissecting the spread in this game, I feel like the Seahawks are getting far too much credit here because of their return to health and with how poorly the Eagles have played recently. Seattle is on the road and laying almost a TD with a very poor defense. The public is all over them in this game because of the play of Wentz, but I really think this spread is too high for a game that is total projected under the NFL average. I think this is going to be a close game where the Eagles can be very sticky. If Carson Wentz can just eliminate even half of the turnovers, the Eagles can win this football game. I like taking Philadelphia +6.5 and I’d feel good about it. Anything +6 and higher is a bet for me, and I even would consider sprinkling Philadelphia’s Moneyline. I would lean towards the under as well, but I can’t get there with a game that is projected lower than league average.

Monday night home dogs are extremely valuable in the first half of the game, so I also will have a bet on Eagles +3.5 first half. This is a bet I have made almost every MNF game this season and it pays off almost every time.

Player Props

There are several player props that I think are worth taking a look at in tonight’s game. Philly’s defense is good against the run and even holds up well against the pass. It is a very undervalued unit and does it’s job every week. The Eagles get no credit because Carson Wentz has been absolutely terrible. Where the Eagles struggle is in defending opposing Tight Ends. Greg Olson is out for the season, so that leaves us two options. Will Dissly and Jacob Hollister. From a snap count perspective, Dissly played 65% of snaps last week. He will probably play close to 75% of snaps tonight and the target share for TEs needs to be distributed somewhere. Will Dissly OVER 26.5 rec yds is a bet for me.

Russell Wilson has surpassed his rushing total of 28.5 tonight in almost every Seahawks game this season. The Seahawks love running Wilson out of play-action bootleg, and the Seattle offensive line is terrible enough that he has to scramble a bunch. Russell Wilson OVER 28.5 rush yds makes a ton of sense.

The whole Jalen Hurts situation is extremely hard to predict. We don’t know what is going to happen with him, so it makes it very volatile to wager money on it. I don’t even want to wager on Philadelphia props at all because the whole thing is too much of a question mark for me to put money on their side. I don’t know who the targets will go to, and I don’t know who will be throwing the ball.
