VIDEO: Astros Hitting Coach Challenges A’s Ramón Laureano To A Fight And Then Hides Like A Coward

-

The Houston Astros remain the biggest heels in baseball and that’s not going to change any time soon. During Sunday’s series finale in Oakland, Ramón Laureano didn’t appreciate getting hit for the second time in the game and made sure the Astros knew about it. As he was standing at first base, he and Houston’s hitting coach Alex Cintrón started to talk shit and that’s when the fireworks started.

But of course we’re talking about a baseball fight, so not much actually happened. Also, Cintrón quickly took a step back after goading Laureano into a fight and hid behind a wall of Astros who then tackled the A’s player to the ground.

Cintrón played nine years in MLB from 2001-09, including two seasons with the White Sox in 2007 and 2008. Cintrón has been in the Astros organization since 2017, and became the team’s hitting coach last season.
