According to Deadspin, this grotesque act of ass-eating was caught on camera near Nemo’s bar which is a tailgate spot for people attending the Detroit Lions game.
The reader who sent this photo along says he saw this butthole eating in the parking lot of Nemo’s, a bar near Ford Field. Kickoff’s at 4:25, so these fans have plenty of time.
It’s hard to tell exactly what is going on here, but it looks like two Lions fans are happy to see each other. Sit on my face and eat my shit happy.
[icon name=icon-star] BEST – Golden State Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr, will bring his first place team to the United Center to face off with the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. It will mark the first time Kerr coaches against his old team which he won three championships as a sharp-shooting guard. What you might not have known about Kerr is the sad story about his father, Dr. Malcolm Kerr.
A Life Devoted To Teaching
Dr. Malcolm Kerr was a professor who spent the bulk of his life teaching about the Middle-East and the Arab world. He spent his life traveling back and forth from the United States and Lebanon, where his parents taught at the American University of Beirut, and where he would later teach and become president.
Dr. Kerr spent most of his life at some the most prestigious schools in the world. He received his undergrad from Princeton University, his doctorate from John Hopkins University, and then returned to the American University of Beirut for three years to teach. He then completed his post-doctorate work at Oxford University. For the better part of his career, Dr. Kerr spent the next 20 years of his life honing his craft at UCLA. Not a bad resume.
Dr. Kerr spent his life teaching and he loved it. His long time associate, Kamal Salabi said,
“Malcolm Kerr was a friend of Lebanon, a friend of the Arabs, and a friend of Islam.”
In addition to teaching, he also published books about Islam. He wrote Lebanon in the Last Years of Feudalism, Islamic Reform, and The Arab Cold War.
The Return to AUB
In 1982, Dr. Kerr was offered the job to become president of the American University of Beirut, despite Lebanon being in an Islamic holy civil war and his predecessor, David S. Dodge being kidnapped by Iranian gunmen. This was not a cake walk job by any stretch of the imagination. Dr. Kerr was even given a body guard when he accepted the job, but he dismissed him after saying that it wasn’t right for the president of the university to have a body guard; he did, however, have a chauffeur.
Despite how rough this job was, this was Dr. Kerr’s dream job. He grew up with this school. His parents taught at AUB for forty years. Studying at prestigious universities, writing books, it all lead to his dream job of becoming president of AUB.
”Since he was a little boy, all Malcolm ever really wanted was to be president of A.U.B., ” said one of his oldest friends, Prof. Edwin T. Prothro, head of the Center for Behavioral Research at the university. ”When the time came, he knew his life could be in danger – he talked about it to me several times – but he took the job anyways because he loved this place and he wanted to build it into something special.”
A Tragic End
On January 18th 1984, it started out as a normal morning for Dr. Kerr. His chauffeur picked him up to go to his bank in West Beirut, he then made it to campus and made a stop at the office of one of his fellow colleagues. After a short visit, he proceeded to walk through the courtyard towards his office at College Hall. The courtyard was extremely busy because of all the students rushing to get signed up for the spring semester, but Dr. Kerr was easy to recognize because of his tall, lanky frame.
Once at College Hall, he got on the elevator to go up to his office. At approximately 9:10 a.m., Dr. Kerr stepped off the elevator and started to walk down the hallway. That’s when two men, either stepped off the elevator with him, or from the stairwell directly next to the elevator (still unknown) and one of the men put two bullets into the back of Dr. Kerr’s head with a silenced revolver.
Dr. Kerr’s secretary was in the hallway at the time and one minute she saw him get off the elevator, and the next minute she looked up to see the two gunmen running away. Abdul Hallab, who had an office between Dr. Kerr’s office and the elevator, heard a noise and ran out to see the president on the ground in a pool of blood and to the sound of men running away.
Within minutes, word spread throughout the university, the police and Lebanese Army soldiers sealed off all the exits of the school to try and catch the gunman, but it was too late, they had escaped.
Who Was Responsible
Shortly after the assassination of Dr. Kerr, a man called the Beirut office of Agence France-Presse and said the shooting was done by a pro-Iranian underground group. This same group claimed responsibility for an attack on the American Embassy and a Marine compound earlier that year.
”We are responsible for the assassination of the president of the American University of Beirut, who was a victim of the American military presence in Lebanon. We also vow that not a single American or Frenchman will remain on this soil.”
It was later discovered that the two gunman were Hezbollah gunmen, following Iranian orders.
The Son of Dr. Malcolm Kerr
Besides the obvious basketball talent Steve Kerr exuded, one of the main reasons Kerr received a scholarship from Arizona was due to a phone call his father made. Steve didn’t get many scholarship offers out of high school, but Cal State-Fullerton and Arizona showed interest. Dr. Kerr learned that Arizona was his son’s first choice, so he called head coach Lute Olson and asked if there was an offer for his son. Olson then offered the final scholarship.
Two days after his father was killed, Steve joined his team against rival Arizona State, as this was his only escape from the harsh reality of his father’s assassination. Steve drained his first jumper from 25 feet away and went five of seven from the floor in an upset win. Head coach Lute Olson had this to say about his guard after the game.
“It would be something that would keep a young man from doing anything for a while afterwards, but I don’t know, he’s just always had maturity beyond his years.”
The Classless Fans of Arizona State
Two years later, you wouldn’t think his father would be brought up by opposing fans, but, you would be wrong. During his fifth year, Arizona played their rival Arizona State, and State chanted some of the most disgusting chants you will ever hear at a college basketball game.
“PLO! PLO!” “Where’s your dad?” “Your father’s history.” And, “Why don’t you join the Marines and go back to Beirut?”
But, Steve got the last laugh. After almost being brought to tears, visibly shaken by the chants and having to sit down on the bench, Steve came back in the game and hit six straight three pointers in a blow out win over their rival. Steve later called those chanting fans, “the scum of the earth.”
On to the Pros
Kerr went on to be drafted in the second round of the 1988 NBA Draft and had the opportunity of playing for two of the best dynasties in NBA history, the Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs. Steve collected five championship rings and many friends around the NBA along the way.
Steve is one of two players in NBA history to have won two championships with two different teams in consecutive seasons.
After stints as a TNT Analyst, and a three year stretch being the general manager of the Phoenix Suns, Steve is now head coach of the 16-2 Warriors.
During a 2004 commencement speech, Steve talked about his parents, and added a funny antidote, only he would know how.
“My parents literally showed me a whole world that existed beyond typical American culture, ” Kerr said during a 2004 commencement speech at Arizona. “They gave me an education in understanding people, in being compassionate and respectful. They taught me that though people may speak or dress differently, or have customs or beliefs that were foreign to me, it was important to take the time to not only understand those differences, but to embrace them as well.
“That came in handy years later when Dennis Rodman became my teammate with the Bulls.”
Next month, it will be thirty-one years since the assassination of Steve Kerr’s father, Dr. Malcolm Kerr. Thirty-one years since Kerr was a freshman at Arizona and got the 3 a.m. phone call that changed his life forever.
Chicago Bears Football – As the Chicago Bears prepare themselves to take on the Minnesota Vikings today at Soldier Field, we decided to see what the Internet thinks of the Purple People Eaters.
It’s important to note that Minnesota is probably the least hated team in the division, at least from a Chicago fan’s perspective. After realizing the Vikings have beat the Bears only twice since 2009, and their former Governor was a professional wrestler, it’s pretty easy to aim jokes at the Vikqueens.
Over the course of a professional career that spanned three decades, it shouldn’t be hard to believe how many MIchael Jordan jerseys there actually were.
Here, no matter what color, font, or size– Sports Mockery will take a look at those uniforms one by one, from start to finish; with a bit of information pertaining to each you probably didn’t know.
Michael Jordan Jerseys in High School
Laney High School Buccaneers- Away
Laney High School Buccaneers- Home
Nowadays, thanks to MJ the number 23 is arguably the most famous number in sports history.
But, why did the man choose that number in the first place?
Well according to “Michael Jordan Uncensored, ” a promotion released for NBA 2K14, Jordan’s favorite number in high school was 45. Only one problem with that, 45 was also his older brother Larry’s favorite number.
“He had seniority, ” Jordan said. “He had the option to wear 45, so I just figured 23 was half of 45 — 22-and-a-half. And 23 has just kinda stuck with me the whole time.”
So there you have it, the most famous number in sports was spawned from sibling rivalry.
1981 McDonald’s All-American Squad- East
In two varsity seasons for Laney, Jordan averaged 25.4 points, 12 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game. In his senior season #23 averaged an obscene 29 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 10 assists– earning him a spot on the McDonald’s All-American Team.
The 1981 McDonald’s All-American team was perhaps the best ever, featuring three future Hall of Famers in Michael Jordan (23), Patrick Ewing (33), Chris Mullin (20), and even a future Chicago teammate of Jordan’s in Bill Wennington (30).
Also, that year, #22 Robert “Buzz” Peterson was named the North Carolina High School Player of the Year and would end up being Michael Jordan’s college roommate.
In three seasons wearing powder blue, Jordan won a National Championship in 1982, was a consensus First Team All-American twice, and was named the Naismith College Player of the Year in 1984– the same year he was drafted third overall by the Chicago Bulls.
Although he would go on to become one of the greatest Tar Heels of all-time, Jordan grew up idolizing David Thompson and the North Carolina State Wolfpack. In fact, in his Hall of Fame acceptance speech, Jordan went so far as to say for most of his life he, “hated UNC.”

Michael Jordan Jerseys: 1984-1993
1984 Chicago Bulls- Home
Here is Jordan in his rookie year wearing the old school jersey made famous by the “Original Bull, ” Jerry Sloan. This jersey was discontinued after the 1984 season.
1984 Chicago Bulls- Road Alternate
This away jersey featuring an aesthetically pleasing Chicago script was used by the Bulls from 1974-1984– making it the second jersey discontinued after Jordan’s rookie season as Chicago ushered in a new era of Bulls basketball.
1986 Chicago Bulls- Away
The jersey featured here would be used by the Bulls from 1985-2007.
After breaking a small bone in his foot in the third game of the 1986 season, Jordan would play only 18 regular-season games.
This just happens to be a picture of Jordan in a playoff game against the Boston Celtics, a series in which Larry Bird famously said he was playing “God disguised as Michael Jordan.”
His 63 points in game two is still a playoff record.
‘Jerry, you know I feel like I should play more than 14 minutes, I’ve been practicing 2 hours.’ And he said ‘MJ, I think I have to protect the long term investment that we’ve invested in you.’ And I said ‘Jerry, I, I really think I should be able to play.’ And he said ‘let me ask you this, if you had a headache?’ And you know at that time it was about 10% chance that I could re-injure my ankle or my foot. And he said ‘if you had a headache and you got 10 tablets and one of them is coated with cyanide, would you take the tablet?’ And I looked at him and I said ‘how bad is the headache? depend on how bad the headache.’ Jerry looked at me and he said ‘Yeah ok I guess that’s a good answer, you can go back and play’.
About 90 minutes before tip-off, a mysterious enterprising jersey connoisseur snuck into the Bulls’ locker room and came out with a coveted authentic #23.
After an extensive search by Orlando officials, the thief was never found.
In an effort to replace the jersey, Jordan even tried on a fan’s youth replica– and of course it didn’t fit.
So, “His Airness” would have to settle for a nameless emergency extra that donned the number 12.
MJ would go on to score 49 points in his lone #12 game. However, the Bulls would end up losing 135-129 in overtime.
Rumor has it, after the jersey debacle Jordan refused to sign any autographs in Orlando. So strange considering his well known “let bygones be bygones” attitude.
(laughs)
1991 Chicago Bulls- Home
This was the home jersey worn by the Bulls from 1985-2007, winning six rings in that time.
1992 USA Olympic Men’s Basketball- “Dream Team”
1992 USA Olympic Men’s Basketball- “Dream Team”
The 1992 “Dream Team” is arguably the greatest team ever assembled in any sport.
Also, is it just me or is it somewhat ironic that Lebron James’ has not only worn #23 (a confirmed tribute to Jordan) for most of his career, but also chose to wear #6 (an upside down #9) for his Olympic number?
No matter…
Here are some interesting stats provided by NBA.com—

Michael Jordan Jerseys in Baseball
1994 Birmingham Barons- Home
1994 Birmingham Barons- Away
After a loss of desire to play basketball, the death of his father, and David Stern silently ushered him out for a year or two in order to avoid a PR disaster.
The switch to his late father’s favorite sport wasn’t the only move Jordan made in 1994.
Since he wasn’t playing basketball anymore, Jordan decided it would be prudent to choose the last jersey number he wore as a senior on Laney High School’s baseball team, his favorite number, 45.
1994 Scottsdale Scorpions- Away
1994 Scottsdale Scorpions- Home
During the 1994 Arizona Fall League, Jordan played for the Scottsdale Scorpions, where he wore the number 35.
For the Scorpions, Jordan batted .252 against the best major league prospects the minor leagues had to offer.
Maybe he was starting to get a hang of the the whole baseball thing after all.

He’s Back Pt. 1– Michael Jordan Jerseys from ’95-’98
1995 Chicago Bulls- Home #45
1995 Chicago Bulls- Away #45
After the famous fax proclaiming to the world he was back, MJ decided to keep #45 for a while.
However, that venture would be short lived as he decided to switch back to his famous #23 after the Bulls failed ’95 playoff run.
1996 Chicago Bulls- Road Alternate
These classic black and red pinstripe jerseys were only worn for one year, 1995-96 when the Bulls finished 72-10.
Hard to believe they lasted only one year, considering the Bulls not only finished with the best regular season record of all-time, but the pinstripe jersey was also the best selling jersey of the year.
As a member of the Washington Wizards MJ became the first 40-year-old to register more than 40 points in a game, and on his final fair well tour received a four minute standing ovation at the United Center, where he compiled a 122-9 home record as a member of the Bulls.
Thinking back to a time when no one at the United Center was happy seems a lot longer ago than it actually was. During the 2008 preseason, members of the Chicago Blackhawks brass were trying to bring the fans back, and picking a new Blackhawks goal song was a key part of fan engagement.
Which Songs Did “Chelsea Dagger” Beat Out?
While many residents of the Madhouse on Madison are becoming tired of The Fratellis 2006 hit, it seems that back in late 2008, it was the right choice for the Chicago Blackhawks goal song.
As Rocky Wirtz took over the company from his late father, he knew that he had to regain fans’ trust, and win them over. His father, Bill Wirtz, had damaged the relationship beyond repair, and now had to try and go after a different, younger crowd. That is a major reason that Rocky brought in marketing guru and former President of the Chicago Cubs John McDonough.
The Blackhawks’ front office began experimenting with several songs during the preseason of the 2008-2009 season, gauging fan reaction and involvement, as well as staying power. They narrowed it down to a few songs, including the following:
Chicago Blackhawks Goal Song Finalists
Could you imagine….
what would have happened if….
they picked a song that was already played out???
Looking back, it seems that the choice was pretty simple, despite how you feel about Chelsea Dagger being the Blackhawks goal song in 2014.
Blackhawks Goal Song Not Well Received Initially
Chelsea Dagger was not beloved , but as everyone knows, winning cures all. As the demographics inside of the United Center changed, fans began to grasp the catchy tune, singing it with their kids. The Vancouver Canucks helped get the loyal Blackhawks fans involved when they stated their disdain for the Blackhawks goal song. Guess what? That only made it louder.
What Do The Fratellis Think?
The Fratellis, who have been making music since , aren’t exactly described as anthem rock, despite their hit song sounding good in other genres. In an interview with the National Post, Fratellis front man John Fratelli had this to say about the new Blackhawks goal song:
I never thought of it as a sports song. I’m quite happy to pick up the royalties for it, though.
Recently, Chelsea Dagger was rated the best goal horn/song combo in the NHL. While many may argue that point, it just shows what one tiny decision in 2008 has blown up to six years later.
Jimmy Butler was 13 years old when his life could have turned for the worst. Most kids are running around, focused on school and girls while enjoying life to the fullest. Not Butler – Jimmy was scared because he didn’t have any place to go.
The Remarkable Jimmy Butler Story
“I don’t like the look of you. You gotta go.”
Those were the last words that the Chicago Bulls guard remembers his mother saying to him before he was kicked out onto the streets to survive all alone. He had no family around to take him in, he had no money, he had nothing at this point.
Butler kept all of this on the down low until the 2011 NBA Draft, when the interview processed started. One GM had this to say about Jimmy:
“His story is one of the most remarkable I’ve seen in all my years of basketball. There were so many times in his life where he was set up to fail. Every time, he overcame just enormous odds. When you talk to him — and he’s hesitant to talk about his life — you just have this feeling that this kid has greatness in him.”
Jimmy was kicked to the curb from his Texas home at a very young age. What does a 13-year-old do with his life with no money, and nowhere to go?
He did everything he could to just stay alive.
His father wasn’t an option either, having abandoned Butler’s mother while Jimmy was just an infant. So, he stayed with friends as long as he was able to, sometimes they would let him stay up to a couple weeks before he had to move on.
Basketball Gives Jimmy a New Opportunity
As his senior season was approaching, Jimmy started to really focus on basketball, and his recruitment began to pick up, but none from the top schools where after him. As it turns out, he met a freshman named Jordan Leslie, who was from the same city of Tomball, Texas.
After a summer league game, Jordan challenged him to a 3-point contest. After that, the two became pretty good friends and Butler became a regular at the Leslie household.
Michelle Lambert, Leslie’s mother, was unsure of the situation at first because there were already four kids in the house and money was tight. Jimmy was considered trouble, but that wasn’t the actual case. He was considered trouble because he didn’t have a home, because he had no money, and nowhere to go… not because he did anything wrong.
The family agreed to let him stay, but it would only be for one or two nights at a time. Every night that he came to stay at the household, the kids would pull a “fast one” and a different kid would say “tonight’s my night to have Jimmy stay.” The kids showed that they really liked having him around and they wanted him to be apart of the family. After a few months of begging, the family agreed to take him in for good.
Jimmy Finds a New Family
The household decided to accept Butler as one of their own. He was now part of a family, and would get to experience life the way most high school kids should. Michelle had rules though, and he had to follow them in order to be a member of the family. The number one thing she wanted Jimmy to do is to be a role model.
“I told him my kids looked up to him, he had to stay out of trouble. Work hard in school. He had to set an example. And you know what? Jimmy did it. Anything I asked him to do, he did it without asking questions.”
He responded to the family support and went on to have a monster senior season for Tomball High School as team captain. Jimmy averaged 19.9 points, and 8.7 rebounds per game.
“They accepted me into their family, and it wasn’t because of basketball. She was just very loving. She just did stuff like that. I couldn’t believe it.”
Jimmy’s Feel Good Story Was Falling Short
Despite the fantastic senior season from Butler, he still did not gain any interest from any Division I schools besides Mississippi State, and they ended up passing on his scholarship offer. Butler was not on the radar of any scouts, mostly because he didn’t play AAU basketball.
AAU basketball is where the majority of scholarships generate, where the scouts come out, and this killed Jimmy’s chances of playing Division I. Jimmy would not let this ruin his chances of achieving his dreams as he enrolled at Tyler Junior College just down the road.
The guard made a splash from the beginning. Playing in his first conference game, Butler dropped 34 points and it did not stop there. He continued to have 30 point games followed by a few 40 point games.
His fantastic season earned him honorable mention JUCO All-American and coaches all around the country began to take notice. The fantastic play gained offers from Kentucky, Clemson, Mississippi State, and Iowa State.
Jimmy now had a mom to go to for guidance and help him with this tough decision. Michelle played a key role in his decision to attend Marquette.
“He had a lot of offer, but I was impressed by Marquette for academic reasons. That’s a great academic school. I told him he should go there because basketball may not work out long-term. He needed a good education and a degree to fall back on.”
Jimmy Takes the Guidance and Runs With It
With his mother’s guidance and help, Butler decided to opt for Marquette, but things got off to a rough start. Butler was accustomed to being the main guy, and a leader, but this was not the case at Marquette.
During his sophomore season, he was relegated to a role in which he found himself coming off the bench. This didn’t sit well with him. Often times, Jimmy wanted to leave and go home. Buzz Williams had this to say on Jimmy.
I’ve never been harder on a player than I’ve been on Jimmy. I was ruthless on him because he didn’t know how good he could be. He’d been told his whole life he wasn’t good enough. What I was seeing was a guy who could impact our team in so many ways.
Jimmy averaged just 5.6 points in only 19.6 minutes of play that season for Marquette. He did not let that break him down as he continued to thrive and never give up, because that’s what he was accustomed to doing.
By the time Jimmy’s senior season came he was a solid contributor to the Golden Eagles averaging 15.7 points. He could rebound, handle the rock, pass, and play defense. His game resembled his personality off the court.
The 2011 NBA Draft came and Jimmy Butler was made the 30th pick overall by the Chicago Bulls. His hard work had finally paid off. He’s now considered a fantastic player in the NBA and there are no signs of him slowing down.
Butler went from homeless to NBA star in a matter of years. When asked about his childhood during the NBA Draft process he had this to say:
Please, I know you’re going to write something. I’m just asking you, don’t write it in a way that makes people feel sorry for me. I hate that. There’s nothing to feel sorry about it. I love what happened to me. It made me who I am. I’m grateful for the challenges I’ve faced. Please, don’t make them feel sorry for me.”
“It’s taught me that anything is possible, My whole life, people have doubted me. My mom did. People told me in high school I’m too short and not fast enough to play basketball. They didn’t know my story. Because if they did, they’d know that anything is possible. Who would’ve thought that a small-town kid would become a halfway decent player in college and now has a chance to be drafted in the NBA? That’s my chip. That’s what motivates me. I know I can overcome anything if I just take everything one day [at a] time.”
The Chicago Blackhawks is an older organization with a long rich history. Along with that storied history, the Chicago Blackhawks logo is one of the best logos in all of professional sports. With the team’s new found success, some of the newer fans might not know the entire story behind the Chicago Blackhawks logo. So, here’s a look at how one of the most recognizable logos in sports came to be.
The Blackhawks were founded by Maj. Frederic McLaughlin when he purchased the rights to the team from Huntington Hardwick in 1926. McLaughlin’s family owned Manor House Coffee, a very popular brand at the time, but before the coffee business McLaughlin was an officer in the U.S. Army. The army part is important because McLaughlin named the Chicago Blackhawks after the Blackhawk Division, a unit he helped lead while in the Army. The unit was formed in World War I, but the war ended before the unit or Frederic saw any combat. The unit was named after Sauk and Fox Indian leader who actually fought against the United States government during the War of 1812 and then again in 1832.
Now that the team name was in place, the new NHL organization needed a logo. McLaughlin didn’t have to look far to find someone to create the new Chicago Blackhawks logo. His wife, Irene Castle, is credited with designing the first logo.
The Chicago Blackhawks Logo Throughout The Years
The initial logo was a hand drawn, black and white, Native head enclosed in a circle.
Logo 1926-1935
After nine years of rockin’ the black and white hand drawn logo, the Black Hawks, originally spelled as two words, added color to the face and hair of the Chief.
Logo 1935-1937
For many obvious reasons, the bright red Indian Chief face didn’t last all that long. After the 1937 season, the Blackhawks kept the original hand drawn logo but switched up the color scheme.
Logo 1937 – 1955
In 1956, the Blackhawks made the first significant changes to the logo. The outer circle was taken away and the Indian Head was changed to something that resembles what the logo looks like in present day.
Logo 1956-1964
During the time frame of 1956-1964 the Blackhawks also had an alternative logo which was basically the same as the one above, minus the the lettering and the circle around the Indian Head. This would eventually lead to the modern day logo.
Alternative Logo 1956-1964
This brings us to the most current version of the logo, which is believed by many to be the best in sports. In 1964 the Chicago Blackhawks logo became what it is today.
Logo 1965-Present
How The “C” And Tomahawks Have Changed
The main logo isn’t the only thing that has changed throughout the years. The Blackhawks secondary logo, the “C”, which stands for Chicago, paired with the crossed tomahawks has also gone through changes. The color schemes are most notably what changed throughout the years.
Additional Patches Throughout The Years
The Blackhawks haven’t had many additional patches added to the uniform, except this particular patch.
The patch was worn in 2007 in honor of long time owner William Wadsworth Wirtz. Bill Wirtz wasn’t the most popular owner to say the least, but his son Rocky, who is currently in charge of the Blackhawks, has made the team popular once again in Chicago.
A lesser known patch that the Blackhawks have worn on their uniform is this one.
This patch was worn to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the United States of America. First worn on January 17, 1976.
The Public Opinion
Now, many teams with Native American logos are being scrutinized for being “racist, ” but the Blackhawks haven’t really ran into that problem. Many believe it is because the team doesn’t depict a “cartoon-ish” likeness of a Native American. Also, the fact that the Blackhawks were named after a Army division helps to argue that there is no racist intent. The Blackhawks also refrain from imitating any Native American chants and/or traditions during the game. There is no “tomahawk chop” or other chants.
The Woman Behind Every Game Worn Jersey (Recent Years)
The Blackhawks logo doesn’t sew itself on to each jersey. Meet Josee Lemelin, from Quebec City, who has sewn the Indian Head on to Blackhawks jerseys for the past 23 years.

According to a recent report, Chicago easily has the most faithful fans on social media when compared to New York and L.A. When the votes are broken down per team, you might be surprised to find out who Chicago’s ‘top team’ really is.
How The Data Was Compiled
DNAinfo Chicago compiled a report based off Facebook’s Ad Manager which allows certain pages to be broken down by geographical location and popularity. When measuring Chicago’s loyalty to each of the five major teams, it was revealed that 39% of Chicagoans like a page associated with one of the teams. This compares to 25% in New York, even though they are considered to have eight major teams.
“In New York or L.A., the celebrities are the Hollywood-type actors, ” said Grant DePorter, CEO of the Harry Caray Restaurant Group, which runs theChicago Sports Museum. “In Chicago, the real celebrities are the athletes.”

Remember when we mentioned ‘boobalicious’ earlier….

The crease is always clean when the Chicago Blackhawks Ice Crew girls are around….
Never a dull moment at the United Center….
Yea buddy. Smile…You’re on Candid Camera!
As you will notice, this season the girls have been sporting a much more conservative look. Question is, why would they ever change?

Read why there has been rumors floating around the Ice Crew is in danger, but these ladies are a staple of the ‘Madhouse’ experience and yes I will still call it the ‘Madhouse on Madison’.
Here’s some help for Bears fans with Facebook friends that cheer for the Green Bay Packers. In picking the best we could find, we tried to stick with a PG13 rating so everyone can enjoy.
