The big news of the day in MLB is that the White Sox and Yankees will play in Dyersville, Iowa, the site of the classic 1989 movie “Field of Dreams,” in 2020.
Construction will begin this month on a temporary 8,000-seat stadium next to the movie location and many of the features will pay homage to old Comiskey Park, where the White Sox played from 1910-90.
The nationally televised game will count as a White Sox home game.
Pretty damn cool.
