Honestly I’m not sure exactly how big the fan base for the Milwaukee Brewers is, but going off what we saw last September, when players were begging for people to show up in a division race, and the failure that was their “keep Cubs fans out,” of Miller Park campaign earlier in April, it’s probably not too big. Anyway, even ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball’s broadcast couldn’t resist but take a shot at Brewers fans out of no where.

During last night’s game between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, play-by-play man Matt Vasgersian made an observation on the crowd in LA, comparing Yankees fans taking over the stadium to Cubs fans invading Milwaukee.

Poor Brewers fans.

I mean, just imagine their suffering. They’re riding high coming into Thursday’s series against the Cubs winning eight games in a row. No doubt they were feeling great and then the Brewers score two runs in 36 innings? Ouch.

Not only that, but they’re getting trolled left and right on Twitter, Kato Kaelin is their celebrity fan and now ESPN is spitting in your face. Brutal weekend for the Brew Crew that is now 1-7 against the Cubs this season.

Again though, not that there are many Brewers fans to begin with.
