The Cubs announced a significant deal earlier this week, as they locked in a contract with Hulu+ Live TV to carry the team’s new Marquee Sports Network.

In the original press release, the Cubs highlight that Marquee will carry 145 regular season games and most of the team’s spring training action in the Cactus League, beginning this Saturday against the A’s.

The statement clearly says Hulu users will have access to the network and if you went ahead and subscribed to the Hulu+ Live TV service looking forward to seeing the Cubs play spring training games, then you’re out of luck.

Marquee will definitely be on Hulu come opening day on March 26, but at this point there’s no guarantee that fans will be able to watch the Cubs’ spring training games using the service this year.

So, there is still a chance that the channel will be added during spring training, but whatever needs to be done to make that happen is still…happening?

As for the Cubs’ first spring training game, that’s being pushed back to Saturday night because of rain throughout the day.

And a reminder that Marquee still doesn’t have a deal in place with Comcast.

Here are the places you will get Marquee starting Feb. 22.

UPDATE

Still up in the air when Marquee will be added to Hulu, but sounds promising?
