Normally baseball fights happen in the dog days of summer, but I guess MLB players were just excited to see the start of the NHL playoffs that they wanted to celebrate by fighting.
First you had the San Diego Padres and Colorado Rockies go at it in the afternoon, but that was just setting up the main event of the card.
