According to reports one person has died and multiple people have been injured after shots were fired during Wednesday’s Super Bowl Parade celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kansas City Police first alerted people that shots had been fired around Union Station and urged those attending to evacuate the area.

Via Kansas City Police.

Shots were fired west of Union Station near the garage and multiple people were struck. We took two armed people into custody for more investigation.

There is now video of one of the alleged shooters being taken into custody.

According to Marcus Officer of FOX4 Kansas City, one person has died.

1 person has died, and at least 9 people hurt in shooting in Downtown KC. KCPD have 3 people in custody.

An absolutely heart-breaking story that has unfortunately become a norm in the United States.

A young #Chiefs fan heard the gunshots and hopped a barricade, scraping head on the concrete.

On what he was thinking? “My friends are dead.”

Said Andy Reid hugged him. “He trying to comfort me.”
