NFL QB Gives La Russa Hiring Stamp Of Approval

-

The news of Tony La Russa returning to Chicago to manage sent White Sox Twitter into a frenzy on Thursday. While most fans were outraged upon hearing the news one prominent White Sox fan was not so disappointed.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garappolo told reporters he liked the move. Garappolo was asked about the news on Thursday and said

“I actually just saw that, My Brothers, We’re All in a group text, so they shot that out. I’m Happy About it. It’s exciting.”

Garappolo was born in Arlington Heights and grew up rooting for the White Sox.

“I really didn’t get to keep up with them much this year, with the crazy season and everything. But, yeah, White Sox all day, baby,”

Garrappolo went to college at Eastern Illinois and he and thew for 118 touchdowns. That was good enough to break the school record set by Tony Romo. He was drafted by the Patriots in 2014 and helped lead the 49ers to the Super Bowl in 2019.

Take his opinion with a grain of salt. It should be pointed out that Garoppolo is not known for his great decision making. He ranked in the eighth in the NFL in interceptions in 2019 for routinely throwing into coverage and also had a brief stint dating a porn star back in 2018. Although he is a White Sox fan so maybe his choices are not so bad after all.
