Yu Darvish Has A Hilarious Reaction To A Cubs Player Farting During Postgame Interview

-

After a stretch of seven straight solid starts by Yu Darvish he finally had a stinker against the Giants Wednesday night at Wrigley Field. Darvish surrendered six earned runs in 5.1 innings, giving up four home runs. He also struck out eight and walked none, which set an all-time MLB record.

Yeah, it was a pretty weird start for Darvish, but luckily for him the Cubs offense bailed him and the bullpen out, as Kris Bryant hit a go-ahead, two-run homer in the eighth that gave the Cubs a 12-11 win.

It was a great win for the Cubs, battling back a few different times in the final three innings to ultimately win their fourth straight game and move back into first place in the division.

And then someone farted in the clubhouse and Darvish’s reaction was priceless.

Speaking of Derek Holland, not sure why he was left in to face a righty with a couple guys on base, but shocking to absolutely no one he gave up a two-run double. Stop doing that, Joe. But also, maybe just stop using Holland and just keep him in the clubhouse to be the funny, fart guy.

UPDATE

It was indeed rookie right-hander Rowan Wick.
