The only thing better than Kris Bryant giving the Cubs a 5-3 lead with his three-run home run with two outs in the seventh inning was Thom Brennaman’s call on the Reds broadcast.
First, the home run by Bryant that came after Jason Heyward and Nick Castellanos got singles with two outs.
And here’s the extended cut of Brennaman’s call, which starts off with him obviously getting pissed off that Bryant homered, but then he directs his rage toward Reds pitcher Michael Lorenzen.
The cherry on top is that he’s still pissed, but he has to do his job and send it to commercial.
