WATCH: Kyle Schwarber’s 440-Foot Rocket Wins It For Cubs

Not only has Kyle Schwarber struggled since the first series of the season against the Rangers, but he’s been brutal in clutch situations since 2018. Yet, he extended his hitting streak to five games in a big way Tuesday night against the Mariners and it happened to be in a clutch spot.

It started with a Willson Contreras two-out double in the eighth inning, as the Cubs were down 5-4. Schwarber stepped up an annihilated a two-run bomb to give the Cubs a 6-5 lead.

Here’s the game winner from last night. A smooth 440 feet.

A big homer for Schwarber in a big spot and another big win for the Cubs. After starting 2-7, they close out April at 15-12.
