The Cubs picked up left-handed pitcher and former Yankees first-round pick Ian Clarkin off waivers from the White Sox last week. It was meant to be the start of a new era for Clarkin, who joined his third organization since he was drafted out of high school.
The 23-year-old was excited for his new journey, sharing the news of his new home on Instagram.

The new adventure ended quickly, as the Ian Clarkin era with the Cubs ended on Monday when the White Sox re-claimed him off waivers.
