You’re goddamn right I’m going to take every bit of joy behind the Chicago Cubs going up 7-0 on the Miami Marlins. Right now they’re destroying MLB’s ERA leader.
Jarlin Garcia had a 1.09 ERA and 0.85 WHIP coming into tonight’s start. Just dominant stuff, allowing only four runs in six games. On the other side the Cubs had scored three runs or less in 10 of their last 11 games, so of course they blasted him with seven runs in four innings Monday night.
