The Cubs have reportedly signed right-handed relief pitcher Alex Wilson to a minor league deal according to Robert Murray of The Athletic.
Ugh…OK.
The 32-year-old pitched in 13 games for the Brewers this year and wasn’t any good, allowing 12 runs in 11.1 innings.

Wilson has a career 3.44 ERA in 332 innings all coming as a reliever. None of his numbers are really that impressive, with a 16.5 K%, 6.6 BB% and 44.7 ground ball %.
The righty had a couple good seasons with the Tigers and the Cubs can keep him around in 2020 if they want to through arbitration.
Yay for pitching depth.
