So let’s recap Phil Rogers advice to Cubs fans on how to handle success:

  1. Don’t cheer for an injury to an opposing player
  2. Don’t turn against Theo, Maddon, or Dexter Fowler.
  3. There are other good baseball teams in the National League
  4. Don’t take the NLDS for granted
  5. Cheer for your favorite Cubs, regardless of their situation.

If you made it through this entire article, you’ve probably shook your head at least three or four times at Phil’s commentary on how to handle success. True Cubs fans understand that the 2017 season will be just as hard (if not harder) than the 2016 season because now the Cubs have reached the pinnacle of baseball.

On the other hand, if you’re a meatball fan, you probably read Phil’s list and agreed with everything he said because, you know, the Cubs can do no wrong remember?
