The Cubs finished their weekend series against the Pirates on Sunday playing in the Little League Classic and before the night game on ESPN both teams hung out with all the little leaguers. Pretty cool experience for those kids and they also got to see Joe Maddon embarrass himself.
The Cubs manager attempted to throw out the first pitch at the Little League World Series and failed twice before finally getting it to home plate without the spiking the ball into the ground.
Wonder how many more times he was going to try and do it, or was the third throw going to be it no matter what?
Anyway, what a fun day for everyone involved and well it ended on a great note too, as the Cubs beat the Pirates 7-1.
