At this point the Cubs and Cubs fans don’t have anything to laugh about, considering the Brewers have caught the Cubs in consecutive years to ruin any hopes of a playoff run. However, we can all share one last laugh over what will be many Brewers fans bitching during the weekend.
Milwaukee has won 100 games in a row and trail St. Louis by just one game in the NL Central. Obviously you want to win the division to avoid the Wild Card Game. The Cubs play the Cardinals in St. Louis to end the regular season and now officially out of the playoff picture, the Cubs are resting most of their regulars.
Kyle Hendricks and Yu Darvish are done for the season, while Kris Bryant, Javier Baez, Anthony Rizzo, Ben Zobrist and Jason Heyward are all either done or won’t play much against the Cardinals.
For the Brewers or their fans, Joe Maddon doesn’t give a shit about their bitching.

Honestly, I don’t give a shit about the Cubs “not trying” anymore either. Whether the Cardinals win the division or the Brewers do, it doesn’t change the fact that this was a disappointing year for the Cubs. So, who cares what happens at the end.
