Ian Happ’s Revenge Tour Continues With Broken-Bat Home Run

-

Ian Happ spent more than half of the 2019 season at Triple-A and he’s come back to the Cubs with a vengeance.

After not getting a start for six games in a row, Happ has returned to the lineup and hasn’t disappointed. On Thursday, Happ came through in the third inning with a two-out, two-run single and then in the seventh Happ hit a broken-bat, two-run homer to right field, extending the Cubs lead to 9-5.

So far Happ is 2-for-4 tonight, making him 10-for-29, with three home runs, 10 RBIs and six walks since his call up from Triple-A.
