Cubs Are Going With A Six-Man Starting Rotation

-

Before Saturday’s game against the Mets, Joe Maddon announced that rookie right-hander Adbert Alzolay will make his first MLB start Tuesday against the Braves following his debut in the majors Thursday. However, that doesn’t mean Tyler Chatwood won’t be starting again.

As the Cubs play 17 games in a row without a day off, Maddon says the Cubs will be going with a six-man rotation the next couple weeks. So, Chatwood will start the series finale against Atlanta.

Kyle Hendricks is currently on the injured list with shoulder inflammation.
