Carlos González has been added to the Cubs 25-man roster an he’s in the lineup against the Angels today, as the two teams make up a rained out game from April.

González is batting fifth and starting in right field. Jason Heyward moves to center, with Albert Almora Jr. getting the day off.

There’s a good chance that González gets some more playing time this week, as the Cubs will face four right-handed pitchers in a row. To make room on the active roster, the Cubs DFA’d Jim Adduci.

After this make up game against the Angels, the Cubs will begin a three-game series against the Rockies, González’s former team.
