Anthony Adams Scorches All DBs in Hilarious New Video

Anthony Adams played defense, so one would think he’d refrain from talking smack about that side of the ball. Yet rivalries existed even in that faction. Being a defensive lineman by trade, he likely had no issues taking jabs at guys in the secondary. It’s always been an age old question about which area is more important. The front seven or the back four. One can take a guess where Adams’ opinion sits.

Ever the entertainer, Spice decided to showcase exactly what he means in a recent video. Let’s set the stage for you. Remember those times in games when cornerbacks are lined up on wide receivers? The ball is snapped and the receiver burns him off the line, getting wide open. The quarterback fires the ball. It’s almost a sure touchdown. Then the receiver drops it.

Rather than breath a sigh of relief though and just move to the next play? The cornerback does this instead.

Think he’s lying? Check out this video from old Bears “friend” Brandon Marshall. Watch the cornerback who has almost no impact on the play.

Anthony Adams may be known for comedy, but he’s also a genius

They say the funniest things in life come from truth and surprise. Adams nailed both with this assessment. It surprises you by how you never really thought about that and then the it hits you just how true it is. Defensive backs do it all the time. They try to make people think a receiver outright dropping a pass with nobody around had something to do with what they did.

Part of it is trash talk and another part is celebrating. Either way, it doesn’t stop them from looking foolish. Maybe those who see this video will be reminded of that and stop doing it. That’s unlikely though.
