This is vintage Hawk Harrelson looking for blood after John Lackey hit three Chicago White Sox batters in the fifth inning. Jose Abreu got hit with one out and then after the second out of the inning was recorded, Lackey hit Matt Davison and Yoan Moncada to load the bases.
Ian Happ was then thrown at and hit to start the bottom of the fifth inning. I have to agree with one thing Hawk says, the White Sox intentionally walked Addison Russell with two outs to bring Lackey to the plate, but didn’t throw at him. I guess there are rules in the unwritten rules of baseball? Hawk really wanted Lackey to get hurt as you’ll hear in the video.
Classic Hawk right here.

Not sure what more the White Sox wanted. Lackey was at the plate, standing right there, but nah, let’s throw at a different guy who had nothing to do with Lackey hitting four batters on the day. Makes sense.
