The Cubs are making more cuts at spring training and one appears to be career minor leaguer Ryan Court. The 30-year-old, who played college baseball at Illinois State, posted a goodbye message on Instagram Saturday afternoon.

And he has been released.

Court played in 114 games with the Iowa Cubs in 2018, slashed .262/.362/.407, with 11 home runs. He’s played in the minors since 2011, and has put up a solid .274/.364/.421 slash line in more than 2,500 minor league at-bats.
