Kris Bryant was on The Bernstein and Goff Show on 670 The Score on Thursday and the Chicago Cubs star third baseman addressed the domestic violence claim against his teammate Addison Russell.
The allegation is being looked into by MLB, after the Cubs informed the league about the claim made over on an Instagram post Wednesday night.
Bryant said it was unfortunate and caught off guard by the story. Here are the first few minutes of his interview on 670 The Score.

Meanwhile, Russell is not in the Cubs lineup for the second consecutive game, as the team starts a four-game series against the Colorado Rockies Thursday night.
