While the White Sox have seen a few of their young players have breakout 2019 seasons, they’ve also dealt with a few injuries. Eloy Jimenez has already had two stints on the injured list, while Tim Anderson just returned after missing a month with a sprained ankle. Now, Yoan Moncada will be out for a few weeks because of a hamstring strain.
The 24-year-old switch hitter is slashing .301/.358/.535, with 20 home runs in 97 games this season.
Ryan Goins will be filling in for Moncada in the following couple of weeks.
