I mean, what else can you say about José Abreu other than he absolutely owned the Cubs this past weekend at Wrigley Field. Six home runs in three games, including three in one game after hitting two Friday, oh and 4 IN 4 STRAIGHT AT-BATS?!?!
Six homers, nine driven in and lots of dunking on Cubs fans this weekend. Oh and that came after Abreu had six RBIs against the Tigers earlier in the week.
Following this monster week Abreu now ranks 10th in MLB with a 1.035 OPS, tied for second with 11 home runs, second with 28 RBIs and fifth in slugging at .669.
