Here’s The Worst Tweet Of The Night By White Sox Talk

-

These are supposed to be homer accounts and I’m sure the Cubs Talk Twitter account has posted some cringe-worthy tweets in the past, but boy you know you’re embarrassing yourself when even White Sox fans are responding negatively.

So, during Wednesday night’s game, Willson Contreras hit a first-inning grand slam and later on he hit a solo homer off White Sox ace Lucas Giolito.

White Sox catcher James McCann, who’s having a great season that no one saw coming, hit a home run of his own to cut the Cubs lead to 5-2 in the fourth. The Cubs eventually won 7-3, as the teams split the two games at Wrigley Field.

Anyway, here’s the worst tweet of the night.

White Sox fans were saying to cut that shit out.

And then a White Sox fan brought up McCann’s WAR for this season, which is higher than Contreras. But even he was dunked on.

Later in the game, Javier Báez stole third base. When Tim Anderson tried it before, Contreras threw him out.

Not the best night from Lucas Giolito and White Sox Talk on Twitter.
