Guess Who’s Back With The White Sox?!

-

Well, that was a quick reunion.

Yolmer Sánchez spent the first six seasons of his MLB career with the White Sox and in 2019 he won a gold glove for his superb defensive work at second base. However, the team didn’t bring him back in the offseason and he eventually ended up signing a minor league deal with the Giants.

A few days ago Sánchez was released by San Francisco and now he’s back with the White Sox according to MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand.

Sánchez, 28, has a career slash line of .244/.299/.357, and although he’s not a big threat on offense he’s still a pretty solid depth guy to have available later in the season.
