Chicago White Sox Heckler To Jose Ramirez: “Speak English, P*ssy”

-

A shitty loss, lots of drinking, and Jose Ramirez coming alive for the Cleveland Guardians at Rate Field in the ALDS this week all led up to the worst kind of fan. A Chicago White Sox heckler stayed around late in Thursday’s game as the Guardians tied the series on the South Side. Ramirez had a two-hit game on Wednesday, then hit a big two-run home run in Game 4. By the end of the night, Ramirez was going back and forth with fans in the stands, including one ignorant asshole who yelled at the Guardians’ third baseman to speak English.

The interaction was captured on video and subsequently posted to Twitter.

It was a horrific week for White Sox fans on the South Side who hoped to see the team clinch its first postseason series since 1906. Instead, after returning home with a 2-0 series lead, the White Sox blew leads in both games in Chicago, with Ramirez at the center of the action.

The third baseman has battled injuries throughout the 2026 season and was not a factor in the first two games of the ALDS, going 0-for-6 with two walks. The tide turned on Wednesday when Ramirez doubled and scored in the fifth inning before driving in two runs in the eighth, sealing the 9-3 win over the White Sox.

On Thursday. Ramirez drove in three runs for Cleveland, including a two-run home run off Jordan Hicks, who had allowed no runs in his first three postseason relief appearances.

Ramirez has been a White Sox killer throughout his career, and South Side fans were at their breaking point on Thursday after another sad display on video, which eventually featured a “Jose” chant led by Barstool Sports personality Ohio’s Tate.

White Sox fans poked the bear, and now Ramirez will try to finish off a comeback in Cleveland on Saturday in the deciding Game 5 of the ALDS.
