Chicago White Sox 2022 Odds Released

-

The 2022 Chicago White Sox will be looking to achieve something that has never been done in franchise history. Win back-to-back divison titles. Last season the White Sox cruised to the division title, winning the division by 13 games. It marked the first time the White Sox were division champions since 2008.

Vegas released their MLB odds for the upcoming season and they have the White Sox pegged to win once again. Tony La Russa’s squad is the clear-cut favorite and for good reason. Almost all of the starters from last year’s 93 win team are returning. Their odds also stack up well against the rest of the league.

They have the third-best odds to win the AL pennant and their World Series odds consistently place them in the top ten.

Here is how the White Sox stack up according to the top Sports Books.

BetOnline has the White Sox favored with -175 odds. The Tigers have the next best odds at +575, followed by the Guardians at +600, the Twins at +700, and the Royals at +1200.
Caesars Sportsbook gives the White Sox even better odds to repeat as division champs at -180. They also have the Tigers with the second-best odds at +650 followed by the Guardians, Twins, and Royals at +700, +800, and +1110.

DraftKings gives the White Sox the highest odds to capture the Central Divison crown at -200. Unlike the other two sportsbooks, Draftkings gives the Twins the second-best odds to win the division at +700. The Tigers follow closely behind at +750 while the Guardians at +800 and the Royals at +900 round out the pack.
While the White Sox are clear favorites to win the divison their odds to win the American League Pennant are not as kind.

BetOnline gives the White Sox the third-best odds to clinch the pennant at +600. The Astros have the best odds at +550, while the Yankees finish second at +600. The Tampa Bay Rays are tied for fourth at +700 with the Toronto Blue Jays.
BetMGM has the White Sox tied for second with +550 odds. Their order is Astros +400, Yankees +550, White Sox +550, Rays +600, Blue Jays +650.
DraftKings also gives the White Sox +550 odds but has them dropping down to fourth. The Astros (+425), Yankees (+500), and Blue Jays (+500) all have better odds. Right behind the White Sox at fifth is the Tampa Bay Rays at +700
FanDuel gives the White Sox the second-best odds at +550. The Astros are once again favored, this time with +480 odds. Like the White Sox, the Yankees also have +550 odds followed by the Blue Jays +500 and Rays +650.
Caesars Sportsbook has the Astros at +400 followed by the Yankees at +525, White Sox at +550, White Sox at +550, Rays at +650, and Blue Jays at +650.
The White Sox 2022 World Series odds remain fairly consistent amongst the top sportsbooks as well.

BetOnline has the Dodgers +600, Mets +850, Braves +950, Astros +1000, Yaankees +1200, Padres +1200 and then White Sox +1600.
MetMGM also has the Dodger at +600. However, they have the Astros second at +900 followed by the Yankees and White Sox and Mets who are all at +1100.
DraftKings has the White Sox fourth at +1200. The Dodgers +650, Yankees +900, Mets +650, and Astros +950, are all ahead of them.
FanDuel has the White Sox tied for third with the Mets at +1100. Once again the Dodgers (+600) and Astros (+1000) have better odds. The Blue Jays have the fifth-best according to FanDuel at +1200.

Finally, Caesars provides a similar order with Dodgers (+600) Astros (+850), Yankees (+1100), Braves (+1200), then White Sox and Mets (+1200)
Overall the White Sox odds are very favorable. Obviously, these numbers will change barring more free agency movement once the MLB lockout is over. The White Sox still has holes in right field and second base they need to address. If Rick Hahn can make some impactful additions then the White Sox odds will improve even more. If you were thinking of placing a bet on the White Sox now might be the time to do it. At +1200 to win the World Series, a ten dollar bet would net you $120.
