The jokes keep on coming and this time it was Cubs’ analyst Jim Deshaies getting in on the fun, roasting the Astros during Thursday’s spring training game against the Rangers.
Cubs play-by-play man Len Kasper brought up the Astros getting hit a bunch of times through the first week of spring training games and started a conversation with JD about whether that would continue into the regular season. After that, Deshaies gave us this gem, wondering if Astros players would wear earplugs to drown out the booing.
One problem with that, though, how would they hear the trash cans!
JD is fantastic. Good to see he’s still willing to poke some fun at the Astros, despite pitching seven years for them during his career and he was part of their broadcast team from 1997-2012 before joining the Cubs.
