There is no fucking way that anyone can look me in the eyes and say with a straight face that they would prefer to watch Brandon Marsh in the 2026 All-Star Game over Pete Crow-Armstrong. And yes, I’m using him as the example because I’m a Chicago Cubs fan, but you can use James Wood, Corbin Carroll, or Jordan Walker if you’d like. This shit has always been broken, but the MLB All-Star Game voting must be completely revamped.
The latest voting results were released on Monday, and despite Crow-Armstrong earning his second National League Player of the Week Award in June, he still did not move up in All-Star game voting by the fans. The 24-year-old star comes in at No. 14, getting a total of 590,136 votes. The top five outfielders in fan-voting so far in the National League have nearly double the amount of votes as Crow-Armstrong, who currently leads all MLB players with a 4.6 fWAR.
National League Top Outfielder Vote-Getters (June 22 Update)
1. Andy Pages: 1,518,451 votes
2. Brandon Marsh: 1,256,874 votes
3. Ronald Acuña Jr.: 1,216,288 votes
4. Michael Harris II: 1,059,921 votes
5. Teoscar Hernandez: 1,043,541 votes
6. Juan Soto: 947,033 votes
Sure, Crow-Armstrong has the most haters in MLB, but this shit is beyond ridiculous. He is no longer living off his defensive reputation or building up value with stolen bases and slapping around singles. Crow-Armstrong has been one of the top overall hitters in the entire sport for the past month.

Among outfielders in the National League, Crow-Armstrong ranks near the top in nearly every major statistical category.
Pete Crow-Armstrong NL Ranks (Outfielders)
16 HR: t-4th
18 SB: t-2nd
146 wRC+: t-4th
.883 OPS: 5th
.286 BA: 9th
.363 OBP: 6th
.521 SLG: 6th
Those numbers include an almost unbelievable three-week stretch that has literally only ever been accomplished by Pete Crow-Armstrong in the modern MLB era.
And after hitting another home run in Chicago’s last game on Saturday, Crow-Armstrong has extended his historic run to heights only reached by Hall of Famer Larry Walker.
But sure, 14th in All-Star Game voting by the fans. What a joke.
