A pair of Chicago Cubs outfielders are headed to the 2025 MLB All-Star Game as starters for the National League and deservingly so. Heading into Wednesday night’s action Kyle Tucker and Pete Crow-Armstrong tied for the highest fWAR among all NL outfielders and now both will represent the Cubs as starters in the All-Star Game.
Tucker and Crow-Armstrong will be next to Ronald Acuña Jr. in the outfield for the National League.
2025 Stats (through July 1)
Kyle Tucker: .290/.393/.533, 17 HR, 52 RBI, 61 R, 20 SB, 4 fWAR
Pete Crow-Armstrong: .265/.301/.537, 21 HR, 62 RBI, 60 R, 25 SB, 4 fWAR
Earlier this season Crow-Armstrong became the first player in Cubs history to reach 20+ home runs and 20+ stolen bases before the All-Star break. Now, with 11 games remaining before the midsummer classic, Tucker is a handful of home runs from joining Crow-Armstrong in rare territory.
An incredible 1-2 punch the Cubs have in the outfield this season. Cubs fans are obviously hoping the team is able to lock them both down long term.
There’s a chance that a few more Cubs players will make it to the All-Star Game. Michael Busch and Seiya Suzuki are putting up monster numbers and it wouldn’t be surprising to see either as reserves or replacements for any other players who decided to sit out.
