Kris Bryant is the reining MVP and I bet he wins a few more before he calls it a career. I mean, he’s been so damn consistent so far during his three seasons with the Chicago Cubs and after a monster 2016, Bryant is getting even better. On Sunday, he hit two home runs, marking the ninth time during his career that he’s hit two or more in a game. It’s the second time he’s done it this season.
Before the year began, Bryant said he worked on hitting the ball to right field after not getting many hits to the opposite field in 2016. As a matter of fact, Bryant didn’t hit a single home run to right field last year. Seven weeks in to this season, Bryant has three.
