Probably the most talked about storyline in the offseason for the Chicago Cubs was Jason Heyward re-working his swing. After a miserable season at the plate, Heyward went back and started over at the plate. So far in spring training he hasn’t seen many positive results, but on Monday Heyward finally got something good to turn to. Heyward clubbed a 400-foot home run against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, snapping his 0-for-15 start to the spring.

We already know Heyward is a gold glover in the outfield, but any improvement at the plate would be phenomenal for the Cubs.
