I actually think Hawk Harrelson loves this because he’s seeing his name in headlines again. The Chicago White Sox announcer is having himself one hell of a week doing play-by-play for the crosstown series against the Cubs and he had another gem on Thursday night.
So after feuding with John Lackey, more like a grumpy old man yelling to no one, hoping someone will hear him, Hawk blessed us with this lovely piece of game calling.

On Thursday, Kris Bryant hit a fly ball to center field that drove in Albert Almora Jr. from third base. Reminder, Kris Bryant, the 2016 MVP, World Series champion, one of the most recognizable athletes in the city, also wearing a jersey with his name written in bright red letters, hit the ball.

According to Hawk, Ben Zobrist got the job done.
When the announcer forgets the batter…
Hawk "So, Zobrist gets the job done."

And no, Hawk wasn’t talking about Zobrist getting Almora over from second to third base because he had already said that Zobrist got it done when the Cubs hitter hit a ground ball to Yoan Moncada before Bryant had the sac-fly.
Hawk, keep being you and keeping giving me hilarious shit to share on the Internet.
