It was revealed earlier this morning that David Ross will join the ESPN team as a baseball analyst. The news was first reported by ESPN’s beat writer for the Cubs, Jesse Rodgers.

Ross isn’t new to the the analyst thing as he’s appeared as a guest analyst in 2014 and 2015. Anyone that has heard Ross talk baseball knows right away that this job is perfectly suited for him. He has endless knowledge about the game, countless funny stories, and a phenomenal sense of humor which leads me to believe I’ll be tuning into ESPN a little bit more this summer.

Ross appears excited to begin his new journey.

“I’m excited to dive right in and start talking baseball with my new colleagues at ESPN…We’re going to have a lot of fun this season.”

Best of luck to you Rossy.
