The Cubs have seen several members of their organization move on and get promotions around the league and one more was added to the list on Tuesday.
John Baker, who has been part of the Cubs coaching staff and mental skills coordinator for a few years, will be the new farm director for the Pirates.
Sources: John Baker has been hired as Pirates' farm director. A former player, Baker was previously a mental skills coach with the Cubs. Diverse and interesting background.

A great dude, who’s loved and respected. Wishing nothing but the best for Baker, who bid his farewell (for now) to Chicago and the Cubs.
