VIDEO: Commanders Caught Spying On Chicago Bears OC

-

There was so much to unpack about the Chicago Bears’ stunning victory on Thursday Night Football against the Washington Commanders. Justin Fields had another terrific game, throwing for 285 yards and four touchdowns. The defense sacked Sam Howell five times. D.J. Moore was unstoppable, going for 230 yards and three touchdowns. After losing 14 games in a row, the Bears broke the streak with a dominant 40-20 win. Oh, and apparently, a Commanders employee was caught on camera spying on offensive coordinator Luke Getsy.

Wait, what?

That is the hot rumor coming out of the game, and there is visual proof to back it up. An eagled-eyed Bears fan (@DrunkRyanPoles) was watching the game when he saw the camera pan to Getsy in the middle of a play call. That’s when he noticed something interesting. Somebody directly behind him in an NFL shirt was holding up a phone with a Washington case, and he seemed to be pointing it directly at Getsy’s call sheet. Maybe it’s just a weird coincidence, but given the NFL’s longtime legacy of spying, it’s hard to accept that.

The timing sure seems fishy from the Chicago Bears’ perspective.

They were leading 17-3 when the video was possibly being taken, and that lead would grow to 27-3 at halftime. Washington seemed to make some significant adjustments in the 3rd quarter, shutting the Bears out. Maybe it was good coaching by Ron Rivera and his staff. Or perhaps they got some beneficial tips from a well-placed spy. Imagine how big of a story this might be if the Bears had lost. Thankfully, it didn’t matter. Fields and Moore put the game away in the 4th quarter.

Everybody loves a conspiracy theory. This one has far more proof than others, even if it’s circumstantial. Don’t expect the NFL to investigate this. However, it might be worth paying close attention to future Commanders games. If this guy pops up again, it’ll be undeniable proof that the organization is cheating. Not that the Chicago Bears need to worry about it. They kicked ass regardless.

Getsy should start calling plays from the blue medical tent. Lets see if this comment needs “approval”🙄

Here’s the key to more Bears wins – only give the coaches two days to prepare the team. Sounds weird? This was the best-prepared they have been this season.
