The Georgia Southern cornerback knew he had to make a big impression with the few opportunities he had. It seems he did his job. The Chicago Bears traded their 4th round pick in 2021 for the Vikings’ 5th round pick this year to grab him. A move that seemed to have plenty of conviction behind it.
How did Vildor react when he got the news? About like you’d expect. An Instagram video showed him talking quietly on the phone. When he was done, he looked up and with a huge smile said, “Bears.” The room erupts in celebration and Vildor couldn’t contain himself, jumping up and down. It’s never a bad thing to see a player who had to take the long road finally make it to where he wanted to go.
