Even Their Main Competition Now Think Bears Will Land Mike Glennon

-

The Chicago Bears plan to make some serious noise at the quarterback position this offseason. GM Ryan Pace has bided his time over the past two years, building up the roster as best he can. So far he’s made some nice progress but people have waited for his defining move under center. Now Jay Cutler appears on his way out and the moment is at hand.

Word is filtering out that the team has their sights set on veteran former backup Mike Glennon as one of their primary targets. The 27-year has backed up Jameis Winston in Tampa Bay for the past two seasons. Most sources indicated that it was between the Bears and Jets are favorites to land him.

For a time that’s been difficult to figure out. Neither side willing to offer any clue what their true intentions are. Based on new information, that has changed.
