John Lackey was pretty good again, pitching six innings and only allowing one run, yet the Chicago Cubs couldn’t hold on to their 6-1 lead after the bullpen allowed three home runs to the Cincinnati Reds. HOWEVER, the Cubs still managed to win on a walk-off wild pitch.
Baseball really is dumb sometimes.

That came after the St. Louis Cardinals had a walk-off loss earlier in the night against the Boston Red Sox, who scored three runs in the ninth inning.
