As long as Willson Contreras is in the Chicago Cubs lineup, he needs to be hitting cleanup because he’s killing it right now. The Cubs overall have been red-hot since Friday and Contreras is right in the middle of it. On Tuesday, he hit another home run, his 13th of the season, which marks a new career high for the catcher.
The Cubs as a team have hit 13 home runs since the All-Star break.
