Honestly, at this point anything that looks difficult for Javier Baez really isn’t because he makes the hardest plays look easy. It might only be his second spring training game of 2017, but the Chicago Cubs infielder is still out here flashing some leather.
Seriously, MLB needs to make a new category for gold glove winners who play all over the field like Baez did last year and is probably going to do again. During Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Indians, Baez showed why he’s flat out awesome.
