Michael Kopech started for the first time since Sept. 5, 2018, Tuesday, making his spring training debut this year against the Rangers and holy shit how can you not be excited after watching him pitch.
The hard-throwing righty lived up to his reputation and came out firing, hitting 100mph on his very first pitch. As a matter of fact Kopech hit triple digits six times in his scoreless inning. That included a called third strike to end the first on a 101mph fastball.
What a stud.
