Bulls Hit With Another Big Injury, This Time It’s Lauri Markkanen

-

The Bulls just can’t catch a break and any luck they have is bad especially when it comes to injuries. Otto Porter Jr. and Wendell Carter Jr. are already sidelined and now you can add Lauri Markkanen to the list of injured Bulls’ players.

On Friday, the Bulls announced that Markkanen will miss 4-6 weeks because of a fracture in his pelvis.

Just another kick to the nuts for the Bulls and their fans as another miserable season slowly passes along.

Markkanen, 22, is already being sabotaged by his coaches in his third NBA season, and now he’s dealing with another injury. The 7-footer out of Arizona will once again have a shortened season, as Markkanen was only able to play in 68 games in his rookie year and 52 games last season.

In 46 games through the 2019-20 campaign, Markkanen’s shooting numbers have declined, averaging 15 points per game on 42% shooting from the field and 34.4% from 3-point range.
